The original plan was to have IEEE AIVR 2020 in the city of Utrecht in the Netherlands. Yet, due to the COVID-19 situation though, we decided to host it online as a virtual event.

This year's conference will be organized virtually. For keynotes and oral presentations of papers, we will use Zoom video conferencing software. For poster and demo presentations, we will use the Mozilla Hubs virtual environment. Mozilla Hubs runs in most web browsers and can be experienced on any display. A VR headset is not required (although recommended for a better experience). No additional software or special hardware is needed, although some old computers might run into performance problems with Mozilla Hubs. Be aware that the conference cannot take any responsibilty for potential technical limitations or problems occuring during the event.

More details about the technical infrastructure and procedure will be posted once the program is finalized.
