IEEE AIVR aims at fostering information exchanges between practitioners and academic researchers, at promoting novel solutions to today's challenges in the area of AI and VR/AR, at providing practitioners in the field an early opportunity to evaluate leading-edge research, and at identifying new issues and directions for future research and development efforts.
Therefore, we strongly encourage partners from industry to get involved. Options to demonstrate practical solutions include exhibitions via the sponsorship program or demonstrations submitted to the call for demos & videos. The latter will be peer-reviewed and accepted submissions will appear in the conference proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society Press and included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Industry members are also highly encouraged to submit research results to the regular technical program, either via the call for full & short papers or the call for posters & work in progress. In addition, we provide the following dedicated industry track.
We invite submissions of industry papers that describe technologies, methodologies, applications, prototypes or experiences of clear industry relevance. Accepted submissions will be presented at the conference along with other papers in an industry session and appear in the conference proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society Press and included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. A main goal of this session is to present research that exposes the community to challenges and issues important to industry. Therefore, papers in this track will be mainly evaluated based on their novelty and applicability of their insights from industrial solutions, instead of the originality of their algorithmic content. Topics of interest include but are not limited to the areas listed in the regular call for papers.
Authors are invited to submit an 4-page paper manuscript (including references) in double-column IEEE format following the official IEEE Manuscript Formatting guidelines. Review of industry papers will be single-blind, so there is no need to remove author or company information from the submissions. Also consider the IEEE policies for publications (i.e., you must own copyright to all parts and the manuscript must be original work and not currently under review elsewhere). The conference proceedings will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press and included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Submissions will undergo a thorough peer review by members for the international program committee. Contributions of distinguished quality will be invited for publication in internationally renowned journals.
