After three years of hosting the conference virtually because of the COVID pandemic, we are very happy to go back to physical events. IEEE AIxVR 2024 will take place at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT) in Los Angeles in sunny California, USA (see here for venue location on Google maps). Options for remote presentations for authors who cannot attend physically will be provided.
UCS ICT is an institute, which, for over 20 years, has been at the forefront of basic and applied research in immersive technology, simulation, human performance, computer graphics, artificial intelligence, and narrative. We are very excited to host the conference there and look forward to finally welcoming attendants in person again.
For hotels, we suggest the Hilton Los Angeles Culver City, which is in walking distance (see here for hotel location on Google maps) and where we will likely also host our conference banquet on the evening of the second conference day (confirmation pending). The conference venue is close to LAX, so if you have a rental car or rely on ride sharing (Uber, Lyft), there are several other good hotel options in the closer area. Registered attendants will be able to use ICT's parking garage for free.
IEEE AIxVR 2024 will be a physical-first event, meaning that we assume that attendees will be coming to the conference venue if possible. Yet, we will offer an option for remote participation. Although limited and restricted to the Los Angeles time zone, this will provide an opportunit for authors and participants who cannot travel to still submit and partake in the event.
