IEEE AIxVR 2024 is over. We hope you enjoyed it and express our gratitude to everyone working in front of and behind the scenes to make it happen and to the USC Institute for Creative Technologies for hosting it at their wonderful venue. Local chair Yajie Zhao and her team created an interactive 3D environment of the conference venue with some of the posters that were presented (more will be added soon). You can check out this interactive environment of ICT here. Note that it requires a high bandwidth connection. If it doesn’t load on your network, you find a video of it here. We also like to thank everyone who attended and contributed and hope to see as many of you as possible again at

IEEE AIxVR 2025 in Lisbon, Portugal.

We are sure Joaquim Jorge and his team will do a great job in setting up an exciting and wonderful event. We are looking forward to it!

Welcome to the 6th IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence & extended and Virtual Reality! IEEE AIxVR is a unique event, addressing researchers and industries from all areas of Artificial Intelligence as well as Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality. It provides an international forum for the exchange between those fields, to present advances in the state of the art, identify emerging research topics, and together define the future of these exciting research domains. We invite researchers from Virtual Reality (VR) as well as Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) to participate and submit their work to the program. Likewise, work on Artificial Intelligence (AI) that has a relation to any of these fields or potential for the usage in any of them is welcome. Please refer to the call for papers for further details.

IEEE AIxVR is sponsored by IEEE's Technical Committee of Semantic Computing and as such committed to the ethical, moral, and legal guidelines specified in the equity, diversity, and inclusion statements of IEEE.
